The Stratford-Cambridge Group Jointly Acquires AIC Equipment & Controls and the Plasti-Co Equipment Company
PLYMOUTH, MI - An affiliate of Stratford-Cambridge Group (SCG), www.scgequity.com, has jointly acquired AIC Equipment & Controls and the Plasti-Co Equipment Company, (https://plasti-co.com and http://www.aicequipment.com), headquartered in Brighton, MI, with an additional facility in Wixom, MI. AIC Equipment & Controls focuses on injection molding machine sales as a manufacturers’ representative and the distribution of controls and other types of auxiliary equipment. The Plasti-Co Equipment Company manufactures and distributes aftermarket injection molding machine components such as barrels, feed screws, screw tips and nozzles.
The seller, Wayne Limbright, will retain a stake in the business post-close and chose to partner with SCG for its financial, strategic and operational expertise, and in order to continue the Company’s growth trajectory. About the transaction, Mr. Limbright said, “I am excited about this new partnership with the Stratford-Cambridge Group and believe it will add significant value to the continued growth and development of our business in the coming years.”
